The Bharatiya Janata Party

Welcome To BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party is today the most prominent member of the family of organisations known as the "Sangh Parivar" and nurtured by the Rashtria Swyamsevak Sangh (RSS). Like the RSS, the BJP is wedded to India’s unity and integrity, its intrinsic identity and the social strength, individual character and cultural uniqueness that have been the hallmark of this great country and its people for millennia.

Today, the BJP is the only political party in India that respects merit and follows true secularism that says ‘Justice and development to all, appeasement to none’.

Some of the changes we propose are very fundamental and basic, but will lead to India taking off in a high-growth trajectory. For instance, we will reward area and domain experts in the field of policy making that will ensure that the problems of today and the distant future are already accounted for. India once used to be called the ‘Golden Bird’ because of its indigenous production base and self-reliance; we will bring such policies that take us back on the path of being self-reliant in manufacturing, defence, agro-processing and allied services sector among others. Today’s India is a young India, where the people are willing to work hard with an assurance of being masters of their own destiny. Our model of development will let them write their own destinies, where even the weakest Indian has a just and fair chance of making it big through sheer dedication and determination.

Bharatiya Janata Party is the primary member of the family of organisations known as the "Sangh Parivar". The BJP, today, is all set for a great leap forward which can bring about a paradigm shift in the life of every Indian, so much so as to rewrite the history of this great nation in a way that its future generations would be proud of. Even the party’s detractors now believe that the Bharatiya Janata Party has transformed into an "unstoppable" force. It has risen to become one of the strongest national-level parties in the country based on its progressive agenda of focusing on overall speedy growth of the nation.

Hindutva or Cultural Nationalism presents the BJP's conception of Indian nationhood. It must be noted that Hindutva is a nationalist, and not a religious or theocratic, concept. According to a 1995 Supreme Court of India judgement, the word Hindutva could be used to mean "the way of life of the Indian people and the Indian culture or ethos".m is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.

Shri Narendra Modi has outlined his Vision for the India of tomorrow which resonates with the BJP's philosophy of "Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas".

The comprehensive vision laid out by Shri Modi builds on the heritage of India's rich social and cultural diversity, its tradition, the strength of our human resource and the aspirations of the youth and women.

The concept of Brand India encapsulates all the sectors that have the potential to make India a global power. The five-Ts of Brand India are Talent, Trade, Tradition, Tourism and Technology.

The concept of Rainbow of India envisions seven key focus areas which will be the overarching theme of all initiatives to make India a developed nation. These themes are India's Culture, Agriculture, Women, Natural Resources, Youth power, Democracy and Knowledge.

Finally, Shri Modi outlined an eight point key development model, with detailed initiatives on each, to put India back on high growth path and deliver good governance to the citizens.

This is the idea of development that the BJP envisages. A united nation where every citizen gets an equal share of opportunities; where merit and hard work is respected. Each citizen is an agent of economic change and productivity. As 1.25 billion such economic agents work together as a single well-oiled machinery, there will be no milestone beyond reach.
